Stefan’s research takes as its starting point the power of the designer and of design thinking.
Current projects focus on prototyping, visualization, participation, design methods and techniques in service development and service innovation.
Currently Stefan is managing two large scale research projects in collaboration between industry, designers and government, funded by the Swedish Innovation Agency, VINNOVA.
Stefan has been a teacher and researcher in interaction design since 2005, and has worked as interaction designer at Ericsson and as a consulting interaction designer for Ericsson, ABB, the Swedish Parliament and others for the last 10 years. He is also the initiator of Summer Design Offices in Linköping, with design challenges from, e.g., printed electronics, future mobile usage, distributed home health-care and sustainable innovation.
